Our commitment to the United Nations Global Compact
IBT Group is part of Eurofinsa, which joined the United Nations Global Compact in 2013 and, since then, IBT Group has been working to uphold its 10 guiding principles. This has allowed us to develop a fundamental guide to focus our efforts on respecting human rights, workplace regulations, the environment, and the prevention of corruption as an indispensable part of our management.
For us, it is essential to ensure that said principles are respected not only in terms of our sphere of direct influence, but also by our suppliers, contractors, and business partners -- players who are committed to the same environmental and social standards as those in which we believe.
Internally, the principles of the UN Global Compact start with the commitment of the members of upper management. The whole company is involved through the example of the upper managers and through employee training on the content of the Compact and its application, as well as through familiarity with our Code of Conduct, which guides our behavior.
