The project, which began on 13th November 2018, includes the widening of the roadways, the construction of roundabouts, the improvement of the hard shoulders, resurfacing, the improvement of drainage and the replacement of road traffic signals. This will include new lettering, road markings, lighting and landscaping. The State Highway 64 is fast becoming the main highway in the region, and through the installation of roundabouts, the idea is to slow down the traffic flow at this intersection, which is seen as dangerous for the residents who live there
