$126 million for CSS hemodialysis facilities

The construction of 13 hemodialysis facilities, the remodeling of 4 existing facilities, and installation of 311 new machines, are all part of the project of the project being executed by the Social Security Administration (CSS) for $126 million to improve services to patients with renal failure.

Guillermo Sáez-Llorens, director of the CSS, signaled that with this new infrastructure patients will no longer have to attend in the early morning hours due to expanded services.  In actuality, the monthly cost per patient exceeds $2,249 and there are 59 thousand patients nationwide.

The project is being executed by IBT Medical Outsourcing Services.
