42.5 MILLION EUROS

Madrid, 31 July 2018 (EFE).- The Spanish construction company Eurofinsa has initiated the construction of a water treatment and distribution system in Sri Lanka. With a budget of 42,000 euros, the project will supply over 81,000 people living in rural areas.
Funded by the Spanish Government, the project is located in the province of Anamaduwa (Sri Lanka). It is carried out within the framework of a Ministry of Water’s long-term plan that aims to guarantee the supply of drinking water to the entire population of the country, according to a press release from the company.
Furthermore, Eurofinsa explained that the project will supply 125 villages in the country, producing 11,000 water cubic meters on a daily basis.
The execution of this project consolidates the path of Eurofinsa in Asia, where it has already performed various waste treatment projects. EFE
