The Universal Wonderful Street Academy (UWSA), a Jamestown, Accra-based non-governmental organization last week held a career day for the over 100 children in the academy who exhibited the various professions and their prospective future career ambitions, including nursing, journalism, architecture among others.
Eurofinsa Ghana, a Spanish business group specialized in the development of public works for institutions, also used the occasion to sign a one year contract to provide free potable water to children of the academy.
More than 24 families will spend Christmas in a new home.
The Ministry of Housing and Land Planning (Miviot) provided with new homes to 24 low-income families in the administrative districts of Las Margaritas and El Llano in Chepo district, which were built through the program Techos de Esperanza (Roofs of Hope).

Honoring its social commitment, Eurofinsa signed an agreement with the “Universal Wonderful Street Academy” NGO this past March 25th, on the occasion of World Water Day promoted by the U.N., by means of which it will be providing the organization with two tanker truckfuls of drinking water every month throughout 2017. In celebration of this event, a party was organized at the school where the signing took place.
Reaffirming its commitment to the education of the Dominican Republic and in keeping with their social responsibility policies, IBT Group made a donation of school supplies to the Educational Center Los Trinitarios in Villa Mella, Santo Domingo.

Alfridomsa (www.alfridomsa.com) organized the first "Constanza Agriculture Industry Potential for an Agro-Export Model" seminar, where procueres recived orientation from highly qualified experts in the areas of agriculture produccion, international trade, and storage.
The activities took place at the Alto Cerro Hotel in Constanza, with the particiaption of representatives for Customs, Ministry of Agriculture, the Institue of Innivation and Industrial Biotechnology, as well as representitives from private industries.
