This project will be built on a 15-hectar tract. IBT Group scored 94.58 /100 points to be awarded this contract, its nearly perfect score on the five aspects emphasized by the project evaluation Committee being outstanding.
This new Prison Facility will have a capacity to house 732 inmates, their physical and psychological well-being being the main criteria in its design. The facility will have different rehabilitation and social reinsertion areas, including services such as a chapel, auditorium, mother-and-child living facility, living facilities of different security levels, a building for female guard living quarters, a clinic, school, University and playing courts.
